Quaint coastal towns, castles, beaches and rolling green countryside welcome visitors to this island in southern Denmark, the birthplace of Hans Christian Andersen.
"The hotel selected a corner unit for me on the 4th floor that had a wrap around view. The room’s design and layout was rather unique. The bed was super comfortable. The check-in process was efficient. I had a few drinks at the bar to end what was a perfect day in the city. Close to the central train station, too."
"Super quiet room, comfortable bed, wonderful tea and coffee selection. The front desk service was absolutely the best! The girl Emma at the bar was super cool. "
"Great hotel! Old world charm and great amenities. Very central location. Lovely staff, always willing to help. The breakfast was fantastic. Can’t recommend the hotel enough. "
"Our two teenage daughters, got to live out there princess dreams!
Ask reception how to get into the tower - it’s a hike, but the view is amazing!
The castle is generally a little rundown (but nothing that ruins the grandeur of this once stately home)
Both our rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean!
Based on reviews, we had decided not to have dinner at the castle, but there are some cute options near.
We did have breakfast and it was excellent, with everything you may need to start the day with a full stomach - we took her out to sit in the gardens.
There was a lovely free feeling to being able to roam the property and gardens.
If you’re traveling through Fyn, I would add this as a stop (it was our daughter‘s favorite part of the trip)"
